I want McCain to win/Obama to lose; that's why I want Romney and his ilk to
stay far, far away from McCain. Romney has no future as POTUS, or even
veep...people don't see him as 'honest', he comes across like a
snake-oil salesman. You remember, don't you? All of the stories he was
caught in? Life-long hunter? Etc?

Mitt's company has the best track record of almost any company in the
United States. The internal rae of return for the company is over 100%. Jim
Cramer on the "Mad Money" show loves him and his record for economic
smarts. He says that Romney is the only one that will even understand what it
would take to turn the economy around. If only to fix the mess we are in it
makes the most sense to have someone there who has experience and knows anything
about what is going on. Come one guys!!! Neither party has anyone even close to
him!
We need some one who can fix our mess. Hilary, Obama, or even McCain have no clue. All are real politicians!! We are in a mess. May God Bless America!!

If you watched the debates last night between McCain and Nobama conducted by Mr.
Warren then you would see and understand why McCain is the best man for the job
as President.McCain is a true Maverick with wisdom, knowledge and understanding
of how to protect a country HE LOVES! He needs to tell more about his loyalty
and sacrifices as a faithful soldier when he was prisoner in Viet Nam. He is
truly a hard working, faithful citizen that has never looked for a handout for
freedom but was willing to die for Americans to enjoy what we so often take for
granted which is the greatest nation on Earth..AMERICA!!!!!!! Nobama can't

Romney is a straight shooter like McCain, no generalities, no jive, and no

The liberal democrats knew they would win and started demanding tax increases and no drilling for American off shore oil.
Obama then went DOWN in the polls like a rock dropped into an oil well.
(I say, "attack Romney all they can.")
It just goes to show what democrat liberals will do, and for letting us independents slip through their fingers out chasing a leader that hasn't even been picked yet.
I cant wait until they snub Hillary at the convention!

Have had lived in Mass. I know the politicians that Romney had to deal with.
Almost 100% democrat state house, Romney had roadblock after roadblock against
him to turn Mass. government back to the people. Such corruption and participian
politics it was no wonder he quit to continue where he could do some good.
Checkout Barney Frank's record. He no angel. If Romney is selected as V.P.,
John Mc Cain has my vote. I'm a democrat now in Conn.

The reason we have the current candidates is because of the media's love
for the dems and the hate for the republicans. I do not like McCain because of
his past but at least I know that he can be shown the light by his party's
followers and the people around him. Put Romney on the ticket and McCain will
have a moral compass to keep him straight. Obama has no core values and will tax
us to death. He says he is a member of the world and that is what he wants us
all to be. We will be paying world taxes to the UN if he gets elected. Blame
everything on Bush if you want but the economy was doing great until the dems
took over both houses. Wake up America. McCain/Romney 2008!!

I think Romney would be a great fit for VP. I'm not a real big fan of
McCain, but when you look at McCain, compared to Obama, the experience is no
contest. What I want to now see happen is Romney the VP canditate. I see
McCain handling defense, and Romney handling the economy. Both are strong in
those areas. Look at what Romney has done in the Olympics, the State of Mass,
and his own business. Can anyone doubt his ability. If Obama is president the
world is going to walk all over us. Can you imagine the moral of the military
with a commander and chief like Obama? Come on America. WAKE UP!

coming up in the next 4 years. To cut off your nose despite your face is not

For Daschle, Iraq represents an opportunity cost to this conflict, which is on
some level true, but it's not like sending troops to Georgia was ever in
the cards. He goes on the assert that Obama had a specific plan of heading this
off, involving NATO, but I'm just not sure that's true. He's
right that we've failed to be attentive to Russia.

I don't want Mitt Romney to be VP simply because I am so sick and tired of
everyone bashing his flip floping and his religion and his politics. give him a
break, I change my mind about 30-40 times a day sometimes even more. I am of
his religion and am tired of the bashing because I believe in God and Jesus
Christ alittle differently than someone alse does. I haven't killed someone
yet nor have I slept with my neighbor's wife. I believe that a person has
the Right to choose for him self what his internal beliefs should be but he
doesn't have the right to force it on me by legislation (govenment). I
understand why he says that a person has a right to an abortion even though he
personally believe's it to be wrong. that is between you and your God not
me, you and the Government. He has alot of money, so what, so does Bill Gate and
Warren Buffet and you can bet that they laid off people along the way to riches,
just look in Oregan if you don't believe me. get off Mitts case and mine

I got a kick out of the DNC website. It provides an opportunity to join their
"Rapid Response Team", to get the word out on the evils of the
Republican party. Once you put in your email address and name, it takes you to
the next page where you get to donate money to become a DNC rapid responder.
What a deal! Not only can you help spread venom, but you can pay for the
privilege! Man, I am sick of party politics.

While I agree with Jason Chaffetz that legal immigration needs to be fixed, and those coming here illegally should not have an advantage over those following the laws, why should Mitt or anyone else attract these wackos.
I am amazed that the News hasn't picked up on the SL Tribune story about Bennion Spencer's books and that the savior would theoretically vote for Bennion. Even KSL picked up on that one.
People shouldn't hate, no matter the religion or race.

with the American public. Bringing Massachusetts from a huge deficit of about
$8 billion to a surplus four years later, with a veto proof Democrat

into a success in every way. His experience creating jobs in the private
sector. No wonder Democrats are criticizing him. They can see a highly

The democrats have been running Washington and look what they've
accomplished - nothing. Nancy Pulosi won't even let the Republicans bring
anything up for a vote. Sounds like China or Russia or Iran to me. And Barack

money? Please, before you try to sell Romney as a good LDS fella, look over his
business record with Bain capital and all of his shady blocker companies, with
which managed to conduct humoungous off-shore tax evasion, which is not illegal
necessarily, but it is just immoral. Him being on the presidency would be about
the worst thing that could happen to the LDS church's reputation since the

I do not understand how it is that the Democrats are able to bash Romney's
term as governor and completely overlook the fact that the Massachusetts state
legislature during that time was EIGHTY-THREE PERCENT DEMOCRAT, as it has been
more or less for the last half century. It is a near miracle that the man got
anything done. Oh by the way, now that he's gone, we're back to the

Take a look at those who critisize Romney - Barney Frank (gay senator who is
fearful of anyone supporting the gay marriage ammendment). As far as flip
