Whatever happened with the Renaissance Towne Centre project in Bountiful? Still lots of empty land there and plenty of people in that area.

Steamrollers?

That would be something to see!

I was born in 1960, they told us by 1976 we'd all be on the metric system, there would be flying cars by the year 2000... and steamrollers.

I getting the kids together tonight and go watch them work.

As a Farmington resident, I am very excited for this development to be done. It will be nice to have some stores, restaurants, and a movie theater in our city. Now we can go shopping or enjoy an evening out without having to go to Layton or Bountiful.

No mention of condos/townhouses/apartments? Is there still nearby living space available?

Why did Rich Haws not see his own vision through?

Why are these all chain stores though? Why not put in some original/local flavor to make this place a destination that is special and makes it stand out as being a better destination than the typical big box parking lot sea?

(As an aside, will this development be surrounded by a huge parking lot too, or will they use space efficiently so that there can be a walkable community located around it?)

The point of transit-oriented-development is not to just put a station in a shopping mall, but to make the living, shopping, and transit all accessible by foot without the need or desire to ever get in a car at all.

In July, Craig Tottier, vice president of development of CenterCal Properties, stands behind a 3-D model of what Station Park will look like when finished. Station Park will be a massive mixed-use development located along side the FrontRunner train station in Farmington.
