It's encouraging to see our legislators taking a balanced and level-headed approach to issues of climate change, and depending on scientists and researchers who are willing to the same.

Many environmental policies being proposed by the left to deal with climate change will have real and dramatic negative effects on Utah families, particularly through their economic impacts. It's encouraging that in this state we have some elected officials who are willing put practical, reality-based concerns of Utah families on the same level as abstract, theoretically-based concerns of some climate scientists.

This reasonable approach towards policy-making is one of the things that will keep Utah free, prosperous, and the place to raise a family.
