Marcus was definitely the better comic. I would have loved to see him do more of his impersonations; it seemed he was purposely steering clear of them to prove he could win without a "gimmick". But he was great.

When it all comes out in the wash, Marcus will have a more successful career. He's got more talent and wit than anyone that's appeared on that show.

And Scott, it was nice of you not to mention Iliza's, um, post-break "enhancements," but I sure noticed 'em.

Go for it, Marcus! I will be bumming off you when you're a Hollywood zillionaire! You can count on it!

Marcus was definitely the most talented but I'm glad he didn't win. His impressions were good but his jokes weren't that funny. The funniest joke he had was the Pearl Jam one, which is the white version of Eddie Murphy's James Brown joke. A lot of his jokes were done before. Jeff was the most original and funniest. Louis obviously the most experienced but just an average comedian. How Ron, Sean, Adam, Pottery and Ku made it as far as they did blows my mind. Why don't the funniest comedians ever make it past the auditions?

I learned about TV during my 15 minutes of fame working on a DIY show.

There's the real world, and there's TV. TV jettisons the restraints standing in the way of "good TV". Fairness is often an early casualty.

I read the list of the past five winners. Several of the "runners-up" seem to have faired better.

Let's face it, we now know the names of every comic who made it to the show, even Ku. Got to be good for their careers.

Lisa was funny, but so where Marcus and many of the others. Each could make a sound case that they should have won.

They're pros. They'll take the hit and make the most of what they did get.

I've actually met Marcus, not that he'll remember a litte groupie like me, but he is WONDERFUL! I litterally ran into him outside the venue of his show in Ogden and got the chance to talk to him about Last Comic Standing. I think him coming in second is incredible and telling since he had very few actual performances. Keep your eyes open for that man. He's going to go places!! =o)

Marcus is awesome. I have met him, he was in my store. And yes he is funny in person, but he is also very nice.
