The Utah Interfaith Power & Light is a great cause and organization, but the article mentions that the LDS church hasn't joined because it "can't be political." It's a good thing the LDS church doesn't get involved in politics, right California?

Those who believe in the imminent Second Coming generally believe I'll be left behind because I'm not a member of one of those sects of Christianity. Even if you believe you won't be here, do you care nothing for your fellow humans who will?
