Plane crash near Monticello kills 3

This is such a loss to our Blanding community. These were all great men who leave wonderful legacies. Our condolences go out to their familes.

This is so sad. Kim Acton was such a wonderful and kind person. What a huge loss for the community.

Such a tragedy. As a Native American originally from Blanding these are great men. My sincerest condololences to all the families. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

They were all wonderful men. The kind of men you can't replace. Eric and Brian had small kids at home...so sad. My thoughts and prayers go out to the families!

Two sons graduated with Brian and Eric, and Kim a personal family friend. My heart aches for all the families involved, and such a large array of family for these three men there are. Not to mention all the friends as myself, who love them dearly.

This is such a shock. The moment I heard tears ran down my face for them and their families. Actons and Bayles children and wife you are in my prayers.

I am so sad to hear of this! My thoughts and prayers go out to all the families. I would hate to have my dad die while I am on my mission! I am sorry for Greg, and all the Bayles family and everybody that is in Blanding. They will be missed but I know they are with our Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ.

Having all of these wonderful men not only in my Church ward but as my employer, sunday school teacher, and personal friends I can say they will be sorely missed. Prayers to their families and God bless them please.

Look at those pictures. You wonder if the weather had something to do with it. It is a very dark sky.

It really is so sad and everyone from Blanding is so connected....it affects everyone. We love all the men that passed away and our prayers are with their families

it didn't start raining until about 9 am. They all were great examples and great friends and neighbors.

Kim was my kid's adopted grandpa. This is a huge loss to us and more important to his wonderful family. He was a super example to me, my wife, and especially our children. We will greatly miss the jabbing about the Red Devil, Bronco rivalry with Kim. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Acton's, Bayles, and Johnson's.

Related to Brian Bayles by marriage. Our family sends the most heartfelt condolences on the loss of Brian and ou sincerest prayers for the surviving family. We love you guys and if you need us just call.

Kim Acton watched over me when I was younger. Brian was a friend to me when others weren't. Eric was a friend to my family. I will miss them more than words can say. To their families: I have nothing but love and fond memories. I know the lord will watch over you. I would rush to Blanding in a second if I wasn't on the verge of becoming a father at this moment. Just know I wish I were there to hug you all.

Ashley(Acton) my heart goes out to you and your family.When I heard the news, it just mad me sick inside. Take care and know your Church family in Rocky Mount, N.C. are praying for you and your family and the other families who lost their loves ones, too.

Legal or not people are hurting and you can't diminish the tragedy that has occured here today. Our heart goes out to all three families. All of us here in Blanding are praying for you. Words can't express my feelings of shock and sadness for your loss. You could feel the reverberations
throughout the entire community. Eric's family is also dealing with the memory of a similar accident not many years ago that took the life of Eric's father. Stay strong and turn to the Lord, He will comfort. They can never be replaced.

I was born and raised in Blanding. I have known Kim and his family since he was about six years old. He was easily the nicest man I have known. Always a smile and a kind word. A true gentleman. I went to high school with Eric's mom. I am deeply saddened for all three families. My prayers are with them.

I am relatively new to the area, but I feel honored to have met Brian and Kim. They were such wonderful, good men. I wish I could have met Eric - I hear he was just as wonderful.

My heart goes out to their families. The wonderful, amazing thing about these small communities is that we will keep the memories of these men alive, so that others may know them.

I was born and raised in Blanding. Most of my family is still there. I'm related to Brian and Eric from both sides of my parents. They came from wonderful families and they will leave a tremdous hole in our famlies.They will be missed by all.

I went to school with Kim and enjoyed my friendship with him. He will be missed.

Blanding always is in my heart even though I no longer live there. You never forget the love that you feel when you go home. There is now a hole in the hearts of all. It is a very special place, with very special people. And these three were among the best.

may god comfort the acton's, Bayles', and Johnson's. what great men they were and i will always remember them. Eric used to be in my ward and i'll never forget his elders corrum lesson's. Kim was a great supporter to me in basketball and i recently talked to brian at the patio drive in, he was really excited about his new business. may god be with you families
