Crandall Canyon remembrance

Is this a monument to laissez-faire capitalism, or reason for trusting what their spokespeople say? Those dead were all ordinary working people trying to support themselves in that climate. Are we our brother's keeper or is that idea of any real consequence? Who will provide food and health care for the children and others left behind, or does our community ethos require that they be left to their own devices -- to work out their own salvation with fear and trembling because their very birth was no accident and part of some over-arching plan?

To praise murray energy for a contribution to a memorial for the lost miners is like praising the DEVIL. Thirteen men have died in murray run coal mines. 2 men at Maple Creek. 1 man at Canterbury. 9 men at Crandall Canyon. 1 man at Powhatten #6. That poor soul had his arm ripped from his torso. murray is bad news. Wake up mr.attorney!!!!!!!!!!!

Clearly, Bob Murray is exercising a lot of control over the memorial, as he did the I'll-fated retreat mining itself. One can only hope the monument will remain accessible to the victims' families and friends regardless of his tendency toward flying off the handle. But, it would be wise to build another memorial not controlled by Murray.

He's still around because he played in a golf tournament a few weeks ago at Ferron Millsite golf course.

Murray seems so smug and not sorry- wow how can he even live with himself. His attitude really bothers me.

God Bless all the families involved in this horrific and senseless tragedy.

As long as Bob Murray walks around as a free man, justice has not been done. When he is behind bars we can finally say this ordeal is over.
