Congratulations! | 11:59 a.m. Aug. 4, 2008
Good luck, Andrei. We are happy you have received this honor and wish your team the very best - except when you play the USA, hopefully in the gold medal game.

I look forward to watching you this fall in a Jazz uniform, hopefully being the intimidating defensive force you can be,,,

Way to go man. What an honor. Though I cannot speak for the Jazz or for the state of Utah for me I am very proud of you. You are an example to all.

AK deserves this honor. He has been a great player for the JAZZ. Bring your best game next year and try to help bring home the NBA Title. I wish you all the best but, as you may well know, I have to say go USA and bring home the Gold!!!!

I think Andre is underappreciated in Utah. He had one tough year. Other than that I have been very happy with his play for the Jazz. Regular season and playoffs. I've never felt Andre has cheated me as a ticket buyer. He always plays very hard. I value that. Does a lot for the team that does not go in the stat sheet. Yes he signed a big contract. But hey, the Jazz offered. Tell me you wouldn't have signed it.

I don't pretend to know more about basketball than Jerry Sloan but I would use Andre differently. I would not hide him on defense. He would guard Kobe, McGrady, etc. most of the game, not just at the end. Kobe is posting up Ronnie Brewer like his little brother and we have have the only guy who can make him take a tough shot standing out on the 3-point line by Luke Walton. Makes no sense. Are we saving him for the prom or something? If he gets in foul trouble, so be it. Defense is the reason he is here. USE HIM! Also I would play him more. Harpring is not as good.
