I wouldn't recommend this at all, for two reasons:
(1) Lack of effectiveness. It turns out, in my group at least, that even the facilitators haven't overcome their problem, despite years of trying (in some cases). How are they an example, if they still have the problem?
(2) Lack of confidentiality. I've had facilitators come up to me at stake meetings and ask me how things are going with my problem. While they don't say anything specific, they do broadcast that I meet with their group. There's only one reason to meet with that group, so rumors can easily fly around.
Don't trust the mormon-run addiction groups. Go to a place that actually does some good, and knows the meaning of "confidential."
