So what the letter writer is saying is that a country and its leaders are doing a great job as long as you're not dead. Give me a break.

The guys at the D-News editorial desk must have left junior high school kids in charge. How else do letters like this get published?
Actually on second thought I apologize to any junior high kids, they would do a better job.

This letter is nothing but emotion. What purpose does a letter that's all emotion and no rationality serve?

We must make an example of Rocky for not being a team player with letting the LDS Church ruin Main Street. They will be back biting Rocky until he dies. There is no room for forgiveness. If Brigham was around, he would have assigned his Rocky problem to Porter Rockwell to solve.

Name calling, hyperbole, and bombast...you have a great career ahead of you in right wing radio. The sad part is, just like your pals, you are so self-righteous that you have no idea just how ridiculous you sound.

virtually all of the posts criticizing this letter are even more judgemental, bombastic, juvenile and full of emotion than than the original.

How can the writer be sure his phone isn't being tapped without a warrant?

Let's not forget that airline passengers are, by and large, us. And all that security theater you get subjected to at the airport is just waiting to spread as we all get used to it.

Question security.

Garth, you are so sadly mistaken I am surprised they printed your letter.

The number of people who have prevailed against the government for violating civil liberties under this administration is exceeded only by the ones still pending.

You may review many of them on the ACLUs website.

Thank you Cliff...who better to set us all straight than the epitome of fairness, objectivity, balance, consistency, than the A-CLU(less.)

Bob, you mean the same ACLU that got Oliver North off after his being convicted of three felonies?

Excuse me but I do have the quote at my office where George W Bush stated he would sooner be a dictator so please lets not kid ourselves as when we look at what he and his cronies have done, it is obvious he tried real hard to fulfil his desire. Rocky may be annoying at times but he is on the right track.

Conservatives hated Rocky. They jumped for joy when he left office.

So why are they the ones that always bring him up?
