Layton OKs housing units

"Councilman Renny Knowlton said he's noticed that single home development has slowed down a lot recently."

That's why he's on the city council and I work at a fast food joint. He notices things like a slowing housing market. When I'm smart like that, I'll run for city council.

Give Mr. Knowlton a break, man. First, the reporter probably approached him and initiated conversation. Second, Mr. Knowlton most likely said a lot of things in addition to the one line the reporter quoted in the article.

So don't be so quick to point out flaws in people. You'll be happier and maybe even get a better job.
