As a one-time Huntsman fan, I have watched the Governor as he demonized the
owner of the Crandall Mine. If Governor Huntsman was so worried about the health
of others he would have controlled the CFC's in the plastics his own
company produced for so many years. He now spends all his time playing politics
and games, I am so disappointed and let down by his views that when an Industry
is hurt in Utah by the Governor, maybe a dock in pay would be appropriate for
his lack of support and condemnation of the Mine.Gov. Steve Beshear

Excellent Comment "One Time Huntsman Fan!" I come from Carbon. Believe
me, we have hundred of miners here who would go into those mines in a heartbeat
if the overreaction and political games of Huntsman and other politicians hadnt
closed their places of work down. Mining families are hurting down here. Those
who are still working, worry every day about their job security. The issue isnt
safety, its politics. MSHA would rather write unwarranted citations and shut
places down in order to cover their behinds in light of the Crandall hearings
(as to appear as though they are doing their job because they are on trial too)
rather than truly look out for the well being of the miners. Ask any miner here-
our mines our secure. Our financial well being is not. When energy cost sky
rocket this fall and winter, dont blame our miners. Blame Huntsman, Kennedy, and
crew for using our tragedy as a political tool.

Let's hear Bob Murray's (Murray Energy, Crandall Canyon) opinion as to
why there's been the decrease. I'm certain he'll blame this,
that, and the other person... anyone but himself and Murray Energy for their
unsafe, rules-violating coal mining strategy. Let HIM select the scapegoat so
we can all sit back and point fingers the same (erroneous) direction.
