Let's hope that JC can play better each and every night, it's been a long time since an Aggie has made and played in the NBA with more than a 10 day contract.

Let's hope!!!!!!!!!!

Carroll is the second best athlete ever to come out of USU - the first being KJT, the hockey sensation!

I have to take umbrage at NBA Scout's comment and ignorance.

Carroll probably isn't among the top-5 atheletes in Utah State history, let alone the second best. Ever heard of Merlon Olsen, an NFL Hall-of-Famer and three-time All-American at USU? How about Wayne Estes, one of the west's all time great collegiate basketball players? Estes played before the 3-point line was used. Who knows how much higher his scoring average could have been with the 3-point shot. Jaycee is doing good things for himself and USU, but please, don't let your praise get out of control. Plus, with a name like Jaycee? Come on. No comment needed. It's certainly not his sin, but his parents'. Still, it's inexcuseable. It makes him sound like a stripper. Wooo! You go, Jaycee.

basketkase,

NBA Scout said athlete!! Carroll has a 40 inch vertical and can run a mile under 4:30 and if you ever watched him play you would know he was very athletic. Merlin.....not Merlon was a stud football player and Estes probably the best BBall player ever from USU but JAYCEE is a awesome young man and ATHLETE! O.K. Sue!

Carroll is an outstanding individual. I really hope he makes the NBA and is able to hang on for a long time. If not, he could play in Spain or South America (he speaks spanish) and be a huge asset to his team as well as to the LDS Church.

I watched the Jazz/Nets rocky mountain revue game and I thought Carroll was the best player on the floor, including the #10 pick Lopez, CDR, Morris Almond, Kosta Doufus, and the worst of them all Fez.
I can't understand why guys like Kevin Oconner and the likes would pass on someone like Carroll and pick up a guy like Jason Hart? Or even someone like Breven Knight, I definately think Carroll has more upside than either of them and he is someone that people would like to follow. There were more fans cheering for Carroll than the Jazz the other night.
The Jazz need to wake up and smell the Coffee...
Stop paying AK 17 million a year and make some good decisions that will pay dividends in the future.

Jaycee is a Stud! He will just keep proving all you doubters wrong. First BYU and Utah and now the Jazz. He's a top notch scorer with NBA range and a great work ethic.

Carroll,

I've been impressed with your play over the past few years. I hope you can make the switch to point and I hope can you fit on an NBA roster. If not, you'll do really well in Europe if that's what you choose to do. Congrats on the baby.

Hey, Jaycee, don't pay any attention to those FOOLISH enough to comment on your athletic abilities and courage because of your name.

Do your best and in the years to come you won't have any regrets, no matter the outcome.

I would take Carroll over Brevan Knight all day long and twice on Sunday! The guy is proving that he belongs in the league. Unfortunately he has to prove it to IDIOTS like Kevin O'Conner. Most GM's in the NBA are so off-base on talent evals that it's sick. Only 17% of NBA picks have a career longer than three years. Give me a job-I couldn't do any worse!

Car-Bear has an awesome shooting touch, and is motivated. Problem is, he's never going to be able to defend NBA guards. It's not HIS fault. So, go over to Europe where all the hotties are and forget about the NBA. You'll have a great life. Good luck!

He has a chance, why not take it. And by the way, a lot of NBA players don't no how to defend. Carlos Boozer ring a bell?
