And to think Councilman Van Turner says our streets are safe anf there is no
gang violence in his district. Must be a nice view when you have your head
buried in the sand.

Put all the illegal aliens and foreign nationals in detention camps for
deportation and the gang problem is solved. These illegal aliens have no respect
for the laws and rights of the american people and more efforts must be
establised for permenant confinement and deportation. Like California, Utah
government is avoiding the problems being caused by the illegal alien
communties. Utah government is acting in what can be considered treasonist and
unamerican, they maintain and support aid to illegal aliens helping them to
avoid deportation and national security. The american people deserve safe
streets and neighborhoods, and our government hiding illegals in Utah has been
nothing but a disaster for citizens. The mexican illegals have no respect for
americans and we have no respect or sympathy for them. Homeland security is a
job for all americans just as it was in WWII when armed citizens manned our
borders and coast lines. This includes state and loacal governments that include
in its constitution to obey and protect the american people and our federal
laws. The excuse of it being a federal matter is false and inexcuseable to not
enforce federal laws against foreign nationals hiding in Utah.

Another idea... | 8:56 a.m. July 22, 2008
even if some of these gang members have legal residency status in the United
States, if they are caught doing a gang drive by shooting etc, revoke their
legal residency status and deport them...
