They're all over the US, they all look the same, and they all have the same boring stores you see in the malls.

At least its not an office park! And if you don't like the stores push for adding a clause in the planned unit development document, that must be approved by your local planning board, to mandate a certain percentage square footage must be low rent and leased to local buisnesses.
