30-40 miles, come on. I don't think so. No Water, no food, average pace 3 miles an hour, rough terrain.

He had his Cheeto's. The TV adds makes it look like you can go forever on Cheeto's. Maybe there was some truth in the advertising :) Not.

Trenton was one lucky kid. Or as a Friend once told me: "Luck is God giving you an even break".

The distance? Very possible since he had water, trails, (Cheetos!),and probably wasn't loaded down like a paratrooper. It depends on modivation; who you are trying to catch up with, or who is trying to catch up with you.
