The ranked-choice voting method discourages the polarizing mud-slinging encouraged by the two-party system, but Democrats haven't done much more than Republicans in bringing that reform about.

Utah Republicans won't give up their illegitimately-acquired power without more public pressure.

Why haven't Utah Democrats proposed these reforms to apply the pressure?

The government has set the example. If they want people to compromise, perhaps the two political parties should show us the way.
