I currently live in the DC area and went to a couple of Wizards games last season. I look forward to watching Dee play. I'm glad he's made it back in the NBA.

Congratulations! | 2:15 a.m. July 11, 2008
Dee Brown was such a classy guy. The guy kept doing Jr. Jazz clinics in Southern Utah last year even after the Jazz had shown him the door. And he was so great with the kids here in St. George. He's such an impressive individual. I think the Jazz made a horrible choice in bringing the less-talented, less-affable Jason Hart over Dee Brown.

But I am glad Dee Brown is back in the Association. I wish him well. The NBA needs more Dee Browns.

Match it and cut your losses with Hart. Dee is a great teammate and good change of pace, lets not forget the Warriors series he came up about as big as you can given his spot not to mention he would go great along with Price in certain matchups. I'm glad we kept him restricted. Don't let him go this guy has way more game than Tyrone Lue who will be a number two in Phoenix.
Good number 3 and we always have 3 pg's.

wouldn't it be nice... | 5:38 a.m. July 11, 2008
if he was our third-string guard instead of Hart?

no Dee we want you back. Get rid of Hart and have dwill, ronnie price, and dee brown as our point gaurds. Hart just seems like he doesn't really fit our system where Dee Brown did.

Better than Hart? | 8:10 a.m. July 11, 2008
Dee Brown is a big upgrade from Hart. I think this is a guy we should go after. The Jazz aren't going to cause they already wasted over 2 million on a point guard that will sit the bench all year. Dee is a big improvement over Hart.

Buy Out | 8:39 a.m. July 11, 2008
It looks like a buyout situation for Hart and a signing for Dee. It's sad the Jazz didn't do this last year. Live and learn. By the way he provides great steadiness for Williams on and off the court.

What's with all the Jason Hart haters? Don't you realize that he gave the Jazz about 2 quality minutes per game last season (including no time in the playoffs), and that the Jazz actively sought him out? He's a stud. Hart can ride the bench better than Rafael Araujo and Jarron Collins combined. The way he sits...it's an atheletic marvel. There's absolutely no reason for everyone here to hate the guy. He gives his heart and soul to sit on that bench, and then ride the exercise bike after every game. He is sweating for you, Jazz fans, as he pedals that bike after the real players have gone home. The Jazz woudln't have even made the playoffs without Hart last season. Remember when Dee Brown contributed in the playoffs as a rookie two years ago, but the Jazz released him? That was a good move. Hart is fifty times the player Dee Brown is. If only he was good enough to get off the bench and prove it. Jason, if you're reading this, do us all a favor and retire, dontate your salary to charity, and disappear. You are the worst free agent in Jazz history.

I thought the Jazz made a dumb move in letting Dee Brown go last year. But now it may turn out to be a pretty slick move after all. Now that the Jazz are happy with Ronnie Price as a backup to Williams how much you wanna bet that Williams ends up signing a five year deal structured in a way that Hart gets bought out and Dee Brown gets signed?

Worse free agent in Jazz history? How short-term your memory is? How 'bout the John Amechi signing?

At least Amaechi made it off the bench to play three or four minutes per game. At least he was given a nickname by Hot Rod Hundley, "Amaech." When was the last time we saw Hart play? December? Point proven. Cocede your defeat. By the way, a true Jazz fan would spell "Amaechi" correctly. I win, you lose. Deal with that fact.

Sign and trade with Hart! Dee may not have played a lot of minutes his rookie year, but at least he can score! Having Dee on the 3rd string in Hart's place would make us a deeper team.

Either way, I'm glad to see that Dee is going to be playing in the NBA again.

A true middle school graduate would spell concede correctly. Deal with that.

Kcrich: I'd take your bet any day. Brown will play in Washington and Williams will sign for as much money as he can get!

As far as the Amechi and Hart goes... they're both Horrible mistakes by the Jazz. But Amechi was by FAR the worst player the Jazz ever had. He admits that he doesn't care at all about basketball and NEVER did! He was uncoachable! His shot .403 career FG. And his two years with the Jazz he shot 32% and 31%! He was truly aweful!

Worst FA Signing | 10:14 a.m. July 11, 2008
Amaechi was a worse FA signing. The guy was not really intersted in basketball and if I remember right, he was making full mid-level exception money. Hart at least tries to play well and works hard for significantly less money. Amaechi was a complete waste of money.

I loved Dee Brown, super quick, instant energy. Bring him back. Not to mention my sister got all bothered every time she saw him play because she told us all how dreamy he was. This is a good guy, and we have the chance to get him back, let's do it. And then let's ship Hart out for a late second round pick.

I loved your first post. I was laughing so hard. Thanks for that.

But I have to agree with the people who say Amaechi was worse than Hart because he was. After all, we eventually traded Amaechi for a guy who had already had a career-ending injury.

'Nuff said.
