Partying at 6:30 AM | 7:34 a.m. July 10, 2008
I'm glad the mother rescued her children, but I'm puzzled that they were having a neighborhood party at 6:30 AM!
Did the party go on all night? And why? And what is the difference between being outside partying and leaving your little kids inside unattended and being inside partying and leaving your little one outside?
Questions all over the place here.

I applaud the DN for putting this on the back page where it belongs. The SL trib has their half version of this on the front, proving DN to be yet again the classier paper in UT.

I believe this should go on the front page. As much as the cops would like to be able to be there and prevent crimes, their job is more of showing up after and taking reports.

THE WHOLE TRUE STORY WAS NOT TOLD. TWO MEN WERE SEVERELY BEATEN AND ONE WAS NOT EVEN AT THE PARTY . NO ONE WAS ARRESTED FOR THAT.

I applaud the mother for being a hero...what difference does it make if the party was in the early morning or late evening!!! That man had no RIGHT to take those kids in the first place!!

I want to testify against him. I know him personally. How do I do that?

I have had neighbor kids in my house lots of time when I wasn't sure the mother knew. I usually say "does your mom know you are here?" They then either leave or call their Mom. Thank heavens I haven't had any attempts on my life.

Why would a man kidnap two children and then bring them back to a house with four adults?

This family is not ready for US society. What a savage attack. And shame on the police for not charging them with something like attempted 1st degree murder.

What ever happened to Bell anyway?

The media is consistant in its need for sensationalism and its inability to report ALL of the details, to provide the public with an accurate picture of an incident. Leave it to the Deseret, and it's major religious influences, to provide the most inaccurate description of this case, that I have come across.
