Brad Rock: Kreis learns lessons in frustration

Thanks Brad
You remind me of a 3 year old kid who tells the same lame joke over and over and over and over again thinking it's funny each time he tells it. But hey, I guess if you can entertain yourself in front of your computer on a daily basis, power to you right?
It looks to me that RSL's management is not interested in building a solid team, just trying to do business.
The officiating is bad in every game, the only difference is that when RSL win, we forget about all the bad calls. Like in basquetball, when you put your attention in the officials, you lose your concentration and the game.
Overall I am happy with the job Jason has done. He has put together a great team especially when when you look at the teams we had in the past. Yeah, we are missing a true finisher, but I imagine that if Espindola had been playing in every game we might have a few more wins than we do now. The fact is Jason is still learning how to coach and he is only going to get better. If he has us in scond place now then where will we be when as he gets better? Real has been in every game this year(Except one maybe two) up to the final minte where they had a chance to get a goal to give them the win or tie it up. That was not the case in the first three years of the team. Real was out of the match by halftime in about half of their games. We have the roster space and the money. Lets hope for another finsiher to help out Espindola and then see what happens.
Long live Real! Love that stadium!
I am glad that you wrote a soccer article that wasn't soccer bashing.
Jason Kreis was a great player, but I'm not sure it's translating into being a great coach! RSL has a very talented team this year and there's no reason they can't win the Western Conference.
They've got to figure out how to play the last 10 minutes, and finish on good scoring opportunities. RSL has more shots than ANY MLS team this year but it doesn't mean squat if they can't put the ball in the Ol' Onion Bag! Hope they can do it soon!
Kreis is learning, and as much as I hate watching him play the same tactics over and over again (with no apparent improvements in play or result), I can't think of a coach that would do better. Maybe we should send him and our assistant to coaching certification school since neither he nor Fraser are certified coaches?! The organization is always talking about effort and investment in the future... suck it up and go to school. Maybe that'll help him translate his talent as a player into talent as a coach.
We need another creative player. Kreis obviously has issues with playing williams the full 90, but with out him out there morales is useless because he has no one to work with. Hopefully we can hang around the top til sturgis and espindola get healthy.
Go REAL!!!!
