Early birds to catch Provo parade

The parade in Provo is quite nice, patriotic and has a special feeling to it. However, the streets are so crammed with people on top of each other that it becomes dangerous and it is disrespectful to block every pathway for people walking. Some people actually work on the 4th of July and have errands to do and should not be restricted in their plans because the crowds are disrespectful and do not think about other people.

We own a condo in Provo. Last year parade goers killed a tarp-sized patch of grass in front of our building and destroyed our sprinkler system. Another parade another few hundred dollars in damage? No thanks.

Hopefully the new restrictions still let everyone have a great time put protect private property as well.
