I look forward to seeing Iranians in another context than the "Axis of Evil." Let's play ball! Go Jazz!!!

It is nice to see sports play a different role in Iran instead of labeling everyone evil over there/here. I am sure every country has good and bad people. I congratulate the Iranian basketball players and the USA for letting this happen and leave the rest of the political unrest outside.

Why?

Hope the Jazz exert some payback for our horrible play in the 1998 World Cup. Still can't believe our soccer team lost to those guys.

Sports is one thing but why in the world would you invite a country's team to the RMR whose leader has come out said he wants to destroy us.

It would be interesting if this was a Larry Miller decision or an NBA decision.

Even if they do destroy us at the RMR--which I hope they don't, of course--it's only basketball.

Rick, you've got it wrong. It's Bush and Cheney that want to destroy Iran. We're the worlds bully, not Iran. Go Jazz

If Iran loses to a jazz summer league team they have problems.

Forget about politics for now and enjoy the game. They are our guests invited by the State Department. Cheer both teams up and wish for a better futurs for both nations.
