Bikini ban fun while it lasted

Although many young girls are disallousioned about their looks in a G-String
some are calling a bikini, the fact is most are unsightly and exposing more than
you want to see. I don't think comfort has anything to do with a G-String,
they all look like they hurt to wear them. I'm not against nudity or the
human body but there should be some kind of self awarness about their looks and
what it does to hormonally charged males. Having spent time in Europe and seeing
their views on nudity it still wasn't publicly displayed all over the
streets, they kept it open and modest with some respectability. The G-String has
moved from the bars to the pools and public viewing now so who needs to waste
the dollars stuffing them in the G-Strings at bars anymore? Just sit by the pool
and get a good show. Then these sex goddess wonder why there is so much sex
predation as they display all their assests. Books are banned, bars are banned,
yet public is okay. Maybe we should ban swim suits all together and eliminate
any questions or concerns about modesty. Think of the money exhibitionist and
swimmers could save.

How blind some wearers of skimpy suits are! What they're displaying is not
attractive, but gross. . .Puffy tummies, love handles, dimpled derriers,
leather-like (tanned) skin, and, occasionally, stretch marks! BobG is right. . .
sit by the pool and get a good show --- of the inability of some people to see
themselves as they really are and their misguided belief that the rest of us
enjoy seeing all their bodily imperfections! (At least have the courtesy to keep
covered until I've had my lunch!)

All of the critics of the Kanab City Council should run for office - oh, but
then they would have to represent what the majority of the people want here in
Kanab. Kanab is a family friendly community and welcomes all to come and enjoy
our beautiful town. We even have a beautiful new state of the art swimming pool
that most small towns dream of. That City Council better watch out, or the great
things they are doing for Kanab just might leak out - but probably not through
the press. As we all know good news is no news at all.

Robinson, write about something that matters. What a waste of time. Don't
you have something better to whine about?

Hey! Leave Doug alone. I think that he does a good job writing. Besides, we need
humor in the newspaper at times to lighten the mood of the doom and gloom news
that we get every day. Doug does the serious stuff too. He does a good job doing
serious stuff and tongue in your cheek humor as well as out right humor in his
articles. So keep up the good work Doug! By the way I got a chuckle out of this
article. It is amazing what people do in differnt places of this world. You just
have to shake your head and wonder what they were doing when they do these
things or what they were on. *Grins*

Why ban thongs? If they show over a pair of jeans, they are called whale tails
because that is what they look like. What better place for a whale than a pool?
Another thing, many here are complaining about how bad those with bad bodies
look in bikinis. But nothing is grosser than a fat man with an apron of fat
hanging over his swimming trunks (that's what they called mens swimming
suits in the olden days). I've been to Kanab and there are guys like that
there. I say, "Let it go Kanab City Council." If you can wear it
while tanning on your front lawn, allow it at the pool. Some of us old guys can
overlook a little pot belly on a beautiful woman.
