He should be making an appearance at the annual Greek Festival in SLC. Can't wait for this big guy to make an impact on the court and in the community.

WELCOME TO UTAH KOSTA!!

Let's hope he'll make an impact for the Jazz. Hopefully not another Humphries...

Koufus is 19 years old folks. Does anyone out there have any idea how much a player can develop in the next 2 or 3 years? Most bigs like Koufus have no touch for shooting at all. I will go on record and state that he was the steal of the draft and will make all of the nay-sayers eat their words in a couple years. There are only a rare few players that come into this league and make an impact on their teams in the first year or too. Just relax everything will work out fine with him and the second rounders. Even though you just got lucky Kevin, way to go, you have shown us what direction the Jazz are going in with all of the picks. Go Jazz. The future looks bright, bright.

to bad we won't get to see him play in the big gym for the next 2 or 3 years. I guess it won't be that bad watch him and almond rumming the court in happy valley

Do not get too excited with Koufos. The year he spent at Ohio State was lackluster at best. He has a tendency to get down on himself and completely disappear from games. Sloan will make him a better player but you will have a lot of drama with him. He does not handle coaching well.

I can tell from listening to this kid he is leaps and bounds more mature then Kris Humphries. I heard all the things that would make me confident he is coachable. That was Humphries problem, he was immature and not coachable at all. He busted here, grew up and is now a solid role player in Toronto. He sounds like a blue collar worker, so we will have to just wait and see.

Brooks and Hibbert have 3 more years experience than Koufos. It will be interesting to see how he compares in 3 years. At least he can shoot. Further, you can't teach size. You can teach defense. It would be interesting to have him, Boozer and Okur in at the same time on occasion. I wonder if he can play forward if necessary?

There are no Buckey fans. Only nuts. Of which I am one. That being said, living in the land where the
Dayton Flyers rule the court, (at least in the papers), I didn't even recognize the name Koufos. So he didn't make enough of a name for himself to even get in the papers 60 miles from Columbus.

Re: Patience Please, We know the difference a few years make. Heck, we even know the difference 1 off-season makes. Look at Ostergag pre-contract and post-contract. I hope we don't have another crybaby on our hands.
