You bleeping Y fans are FUNNY! You declare TP getting drafted in the second round and winning the MWC the last 2 years as the greatest victories in the world and history of the state of UT. How about everyother year besides the years you win. Totaltards!!

Trent will make more in 1 year than most Y posters here will in there lifetime, even if he runs a Mcdonalds after he doesn't make the Pistons!! Now get back to work, Your UofU graduate boss doesn't pay you for your balling advise.

wasn't even on the list of some of the top guys to get drafted and didn't get picked, yet he was supposedly the best guy to ever play in the state of Utah.

In this years draft, BYU 1 USU ZERO.

Trent will be surrounded by excellent and veteran NBA players. They will teach him and help him. He wants to improve his game and this is one of the best places he can. The person who mocked that this was the worst place he could go because all of the talent, well you're just a sorry pessimistic ute because of all things having that talent just helps you more.

By the way utes, how are your top picks doing? Either one led the team to at least.500 season yet? Mocking makes you eat your words.

RE: Just The Facts | 8:23 p.m. June 28, 2008
Even in lean years Utah basketball has had players go to the NBA.

You are hilarious, but you have no facts....
And Kresmir Cosic could have played in the NBA, in 1972 he was actually drafted by Portland. In 1973 Boston wanted him, but he told them he wouldn't play in the US, The Lakers drafted him anyways but he of course didn't stay, he had another mission in life. He wanted to go back to Europe to help his country, which he did. He was the "Michael Jordan" of European Basketball.

You also say that "...the Utes have always had a better basketball program and tradition"

I say where are your facts? The head to head series between BYU and Utah is almost even, BYU has had more NBA players drafted and has a great tradition. So what makes the U of U basketball program so much more dominant?

Hey Dick Harmon, will you still cover Plaisted when he goes to play in Europe? Who cares that he got drafted - it was late in the second round. I doubt he'll ever be on an NBA roster.

What's the cheapest flight to Europe? Has that SLC direct to Paris flight started, yet?

Not even a Utah fan, but off the top of my head, they have a National Championship, National Championship runner up, multiple Sweet sixteen appearances, top 5 draft picks, players that are in the NBA and still playing and staring for their teams. NBA all-star MVP to name a few. I am sure a real Ute fan could come up with more facts, but let that suffice.

We saw it all year and head to head J R Giddens
was the best player in the MWC last year. A troubled head case turned his life and his basketball career around. Good luck with Detroit Trent, I believe another year would have done wonders. As for Bugut, Danny Grainger was drafted behind him but the stats show who is coming on at the NBA level.
Congrats JR and Go Lobos

Yo I am a byu fan, plaisted wont be that good, has no outside shot, has a stupid little hook shot dribble twice and then spin right or left. He will get dominated in the N.B.A. congradulations on getting drafted, but playing time will be hard to come by.
