This has the potential to be the best idea to come along to Davis County in a
long time...we just need to obtain the funding. As a long time resident of
Davis County and a frequent performer at Rodgers Memorial, I agree with Mayor
Russell that this is a key piece of the economic and cultural growth of Davis
County..we can't be an offshoot of Salt Lake forever, we need to develop
our own identity and this is a great way to do it.

Wah, Wha, Wha, is all we are ever going to hear form Mr. Davies and his friends.
The Rogers Memeorial Theatre was unable to secure private funding for their
building project. It must not have been a good idea for the bankers etc.. So
they put one over on the tax payers of Bountiful and Centerville and are now
crying to the county for money to build their dream... I wish I could get the
tax payers to fund my private enterprise dreams.

MC is right. Personally, I hope the county doesn't give these guys one cent
of their money. I have been involved with Rodgers for many years both in being
in their shows and seeing them. What the news articles won't tell you is
all that all Mr. Davies and friends want is to be the biggest guys in the
theater world in the top of Utah, even though they spout all this kumbaya about
teenagers having a place to go and how great it would be for the community to
have this. They constantly have tried to bring the little guys down to build
themselves up. Not to mention have been incredibly rude to me to the point where
I don't associate with them anymore.

not a classy move, Rodgers. Tax payers shouldn't have to foot your bill.
You would be taking money away from other important things in the community, and
you are already taking most of the RAP tax which should have gone to more
people, as well.

I think this facility would be state of the line. Everyone should donate their
extra dollars to Rodgers. I shall be purchasing my new lexus and theatre premise
with all of your money.
