Plaza flap led the way to real unity

I think there are a few factual errors in this narrative. For all intents and purposes, Rocky, himself, started the feud over the arms-lengh-sale of the plaza to the LDS Church. It was a rip-off for the property to have to be paid for again. The ultimate irony is that this article implies that Rocky brokered the "amicable" settlement. If Rocky had been able to have his way, the problem would still remain unresolved.

Dave is absolutely right. Rocky is a professional Mormon hater and a first-rate nut. The only reason he worked a deal is because it reached the point where he realized he had to for his own political interests. I couldn't believe how much hatred was expressed at the time. It was asurd.

Here in California, we have our share of out-of-control "civil servants". Rocky Anderson fits right in! The LDS Church was overly generous in the brokered Main Street land deal, but good has come from a bizarre and illegal situation. I still am reeling about how Rocky treated the President of our country as a criminal while visiting Utah. He mimics the behavior of L.A.'s Mayor Villarrigosa, another nutjob!
