Texas never dreaned what it would cost
Arizona is an ignorant state as well
God said let my people go!
You said it, God didn't say anything. This is about as intellectual as your Prophet Warren Jeffs, who sets in prison for being a child molester and a big liar. .
Jeffs sits in prison for conducting a wedding ceremony (accomplice to rape). But there is no rapist ......the alleged rapist has yet to go to trial.
It will be interesting to see if the guy gets off and then where will this mess be. Jeffs in jail for accomplice to a rape that never occured.
If the "evidence" gathered at YFZ is thrown out then back to square one.
The keystone cops that orchestrated this whole jumbled mess need to be reassigned to the border patrol. They can arrest illegals 20 miles inside the Mexican border and save transportation costs.
Oh, but it was. Protection of the girls from growing up and marrying old men. And protection of the boys from growing up to be old men marrying young girls.
This is where Texas made its colossal error. CPS is authorized to take children from their homes ONLY if there is IMMINENT danger to them. What is baffling is... CPS should have known better.
And it's going to cost Texas millions. CPS officials and all other State people involved in this fiasco should resign.
You got that right. My mom used to abuse me by insisting that I do my chores, clean my room, and make my bed. I think I should contact CPS.
Jeffs will get off because there was no rape. He is undoubtedly lining up his ducks to sue for false arrest and imprisonment.
If you were FLDS they would take you in with open arms, console you for being so abused, and call you a Lost Boy.
Yes the children are suffering, and its horrible, but its because of Adults lifestyle , not CPS or a Judge or anyone else. Willie Jessop stood in front of cameras and said, there would be no further underage marriages. (no further?) What does that tell you? I guess Merrill Jessop is in "hiding" now along with many of the other men who lived at that ranch.
Oh boy.....now Jeffs is charged with marrying a 12 year old..probably the same one he was kissing.
I may just go sit in that court room to see the state present its case.
Your honor....we have here the ID from the 12 year old......whoops she may be 28. Well we have the DNA ...........can't use that though. Your honor we have a picture.......nope can't use that either.
Your honor we can prove he was at the ranch on....nope he was in prison then. Your honor, as soon as we pump "Sarah" full of meds we will have a witness that....never existed. But we know that Flora said....whoops she was never there.
Look judge we have a tank ready to go, just say the word and we can find something.
It seems like there are so many who want to believe the Flora's, Carolyns, Elissa', and the list goes on. I just wonder where all of the proof of all of these things is.
All yall FLDS folks just hold tight for a while.
After this is all over you will have enough money to never have to drink Texas yellow water again. You can drill deep enough to hit a spring in that YFZ desert and bottle the stuff for resale.
By the way the yellow stuff in the water is from a high mineral and sulfer content so don't worry.
The natives that drink the water too long get bad teeth and kidney stones but you have to drink the stuff for years.
Re Brother Chuck>.. Ok I'll tell you. The Waco raid was one raid too many. It may have been the feds but they had enough help from Texas that the Texas bunch should have learned a lesson.
Now we have the YFZ fiasco to call our own and the mess is beyond shameful.
Last week in Killene the cops used an armored care and several swat teams to get one murder suspect.
The use of excessive force has gone too far in Texas and as a native Texan I am getting tired of it. This state has made a mockery of justice and law enforcement has turned into an industry similar to the military industrial complex of the cold war. In this case the war is being fought against its own citizens by a State with little regard for civil rights and due process.
"Save the children" has become the new battle cry for the worn out "war on drugs" excuse of the past.
This state imprisons more of its citizens than any other State in this union for shear profit....this time they lose money...thank God we didn't lose lives.
Did she have a marriage license issued by the state? If not, there is no marriage. If she did, then the state is responsible for improperly issuing a license. If she had no license and was married by Jeffs, it was likely a FLDS "spiritual" marriage... which is not against any laws that I'm aware of.
"Every Child should have a free will without the fear of being tossed out of their home."
My fear was being taken to the wood shed.
Please post the name of that shelter. The water being a yellowish color means that the plumbing in that building is in dire need of cleaning and repairs. The Children should never have been allowed to stay in that place. The building does not pass City Codes. Write the Star Telegram an email asking them to check the shelter out.
I know a little girl that spent time in the Childrens Hospital in Fort Worth because CPS refused to give her her medicine. CPS tried to blame their error on the Girls Mother. The Doctor at the Hospital stated a Timeline that put the Girl's Mother out of the picture as a cause for the sickness.
Three Children were sent out of State in a Vehicle with expired tags. They now live with a convicted Child abuser that uses drugs.
.
If the parent's had not abused the kids and kept them out of society, and taught them that anyone outside was evil, then they would not have been so afraid.
So again, it is the parent's fault.
ONLY
Catholic Charities in Fort Worth turned in old unused orphanage back into a children's shelter just for the purpose of housing the FLDS kids. This is a quote from an abc13 article in April
""In Fort Worth, Catholic Charities is adding more staffers to handle the 35 Eldorado children it received this week, said Anne Mason, the group's director of development. Employees turned a former orphanage back into a children's home, she said.""
Well there CS.so they didn't want for anything while at Ft Concho and the Coliseium.......how about freedom.
You seem to have forgotten about the state MHMR workers who reported CPS abuses to their supervisor after observing the treatment of the captives held in the coliseium.
Freedom is an interesting thing CS .....people could have been locked in the best hotel in the world but it still would have been a prison. For 14 million Texas could have built a heck of a nice concentration facility.....but it still would have been a prison.
I don't believe that you are one of the chilldren involved in the YFZ raid, are you living up to the name you are using or did you think your story would be more plausible if you used the name truth? Pray before you say, honesty is the best policy.
Isn't it interesting how anyone that supports the FLDS are accused of being FLDS or FLDS sympothizers.
When someone claims to be FLDS and or has experienced the captivity they are not believed.
Tell ya what, from now on Texas will tattoo a number on the forearm of captives so they can be identified.....but then everyone will say the numbers are faked.
Please join me in praying that those responsible for evil on both sides of the fence will be exposed, and severely and swiftly punished.
"The documents did include e-mails circulated among some of Perry's top staffers in response to a May 25 Star-Telegram report on complaints about delayed reimbursements to some state protective services employees. The e-mails included "travel voucher talking points" explaining the process for ensuring prompt reimbursement and expressing empathy for employees who must pay their ever-rising gasoline bills upfront.
"We have been hearing a few anecdotal stories from staff that they are feeling the gas price pinch and that their reimbursements are taking too long," the talking points say before explaining how the reimbursement policy works."
