Salt Lake streams ordinance may be loosened

The only losers in property valuations are the speculators who bought the land to develope and find themselves not being able to develope it. Speculators should not be given property rights as speculators and developers. Land use is too important around natural runoffs and the ordinance should stand and let the speculators suffer the disappointment of being able to develope it. They are not true property owners with intent to occupy the land so they should be treated as non resident owners with limited rights and appeals to zoneing laws and changes. They should have no voice in these laws and the laws are there to protect the land they own and others that live downstream. The speculator property owners are not the only ones whose rights should be considered, those along all the streams and flood control ranges have a larger a voice. If these speculators don't like the zoning then they can sell and leave. Speculators have been using this property valuation loss to overturn many state and city zoning laws to develope and it is causing wide spread devestaion to home buyers having to cope with damages incurred by future owners.
