Welcome coach I am glad to see that we have a experienced coach at Tooele and I hope you are hear to stay. Ignore the negative comments by the community that are sure to come. PLayers if you give the effort this guy will show you how to win games.

Congratulations Tooele! Look at what Ray has done for the teams he has coached lately. Park City went undefeated in the regular season in 2006. Judge Memorial went to the 3A State Championship game in 2007.

Coach Groth is a stand-up guy who will do a great job for Tooele and most of all for the kids there. Congrats, great choice. And best of luck to everyone.

I spoke with a coach at Judge who I know very well and respect about Groth. He said Groth would make the players and coaches around him better. He also told me that they will miss him at Judge. Give this coach a chance before you start complaining. Coach Cazzie said you were the man and that is good enough for me and mine.

He is an amazing football mind. He is a student of the game. The only problem that people can hold against him is the undue influence problem. It is very hard to get a winning team without talking to players in that section of Salt Lake. I bet it goes a lot more than people think at schools Everywhere just not there. Coach Groth will be a great match for Tooele.

Groth was fired at Skyline for problems. He was fired at Granger for "Changing other teachers grades" to make his players eligible. He was fired at Highland for recruiting other schools players. What is next????

Good luck to Groth and Tooele great coaching mind. Tooele if you have good receivers and a quarterback who can throw forget it though. He does need to learn the ability of being able to "change it up" when needed and listen to some of the young men he teaches the game to. Highland did miss him.

Yes, Park City went undefeated in the regular season in 2006, but remember Coach Groth was suspended for the first five games, which included 2-a-days. Thus, the influence was minimal. Good coach, but don't give him credit for PC's 2006 success.

Dont be negative! If you want the coach to be successfull, support him! Quit bringing up theses things from the past. Least he isn't a coach that will use Tooele as a stepping stone..

Good Luck Coach Groth! We wish you the BEST! You did us well last year, and led us to the championship game! Tooele will benefit greatly from Coach Groth! He knows the game of football, and will get everything he can out of his players! Thanks for all you did for the Judge program this past year!
