I think this is wonderful news! He is a very talented singer, and will go far. He's also a very humble, modest, and spiritual person, a good example for the youth.

I don't understand why people are so concerned about him serving a mission. He's only 17! He still has time to grow and develop, to work on his talent, and to become more poised and polished. Let's all let him enjoy the phase of his life that he is in now. This experience could be very helpful to him later. Besides, a mission is a very personal decision that should be left up to him, his family, and his priesthood leaders, not strangers who only know him because of a popular TV show.

I am awed at your talent, and Love your Picture on the wall outside Murray High.Keep smiling, keep singing, and keep living the way you have been taught and you will be greatly blessed, both spiritually and financially.
