Good sign.

Since Bronco took over, I think that whoever has lost this golf tourney has gone on to beat their rival in football.

Good sign.

I will be very happy to keep with the tradition of losing this golf event, as long as we keep winning in Football. GO COUGARS!

It's simple, Kyle is living right on and off the field. God favored him over Bronco just like he will come November.

You know, as much as I really hate the Utes, I'm glad to see Bronco and Kyle come together in a spirit of camaraderie for a good cause. Also, and I know this sounds odd, I'm glad Bronco finally submitted to singing the Utah song. It's tradition, after all, and refusing just makes him look like a poor sport.

And maybe actually singing the song this year will mean we beat the Utes by more than a miracle play.

Keep your eye on the prize. The real winner? The kidney foundation. Kidney disease is awful.

Oh the beauty of this!

So BYU is now really in Whits head. The final paragraph is all we need to know. Whit wins this pathetic...what did Karl Malone say? Golf is a good walk waisted? Anyway, Whit wins that and then loses the football game in November.

I know there are some who absolutely love golf, my brother included. As far as I'm concerned let the Utes win that every year, twice during odd numbered years, or years beginning with '2's'. So long as we win the Holy War that counts!

Oh, and even though golf is a horrible day waisted, didn't BYU have a golfer win the Masters? That Weir guy. Does our lovely singing buddies from the north have any Master's jackets in their collective closets?

Hmm, didn't think so.

Go cougars! BCS bound if they can run the table.

Wow...on and on about how golf is a waste of time and energy then go on to bloat about your Cougar that won a Masters tourney? You're post is so shambled and disorganized that I'm not sure your uneducated brothers and sisters at in Happy Valley will understand...on second thought... maybe that's your own little language.

As for the golf tourney...who cares who won or lost. This was a charity event. At least Bronco had the guts to live up to his penalty for not recruiting the best players. Hey, maybe there is a connection to football...Whit said its all about recruiting...Mendenhall was never a good recruiter... so maybe this will translate to the football field.

Go Whit and the Utes. Hey Bronco, nice hat!!!

Waisted? | 8:27 a.m. June 10, 2008
Where did you go to school, Robert H - BYU? What does the word "waisted" mean? And don't tell me it was a typo - you made the same misspelling twice. I think the word you're looking for is "wasted", as in the sentence "looking at the history of the rivalry, Utah has WASTED the y."

I think "waisted" is what happens when you spend your 4 years of college eating at the Creamery.

I am a Cougar Grad and kidney donor. This tradition is something I've watched for the last 20 years and have enjoyed watching the coaches come together for a great cause and provide a ton of laughs along the way. As the Utah Foundation has said, this is a unique experience with rivalries as other chapters have not been able to duplicate with other rivals across the country. Thanks to Bronco and Kyle for carrying on the tradition. Thanks be to this event and the lives it changes for the better. I'm glad my sister and I can laugh together 13 years following the miracle of our transplant between a Cougar and a Ute.

Laughing at your comment, "Magic Happens." Yes, I'm a Coug fan and graduate, but that remark made me laugh out loud.

Good-natured ribbing. Nothing wrong with that. And we can all be civil and cheer for the success of the other school. Glad BYU has Bronco, but Kyle's a great guy as well. I'm one of those people that want to see the Cougars go undefeated and the Utes finish 11-1 every year.

lets hope | 9:20 a.m. June 10, 2008
Lets hope that no matter what team we support that both of them come to provo undefeated.

If they manage to do that there is a chance that who ever wins has a shot at "the BCS" title game not just "A" bowl championship game.

Looks like Kyle is just living right. You know, living right, making the right decisions, being righteous and then the Lord steps in and does the rest. That kind of thing. If he keeps living right, the Utes will crush the Cougars in November. Keep it up Kyle! The Lord will bless you and the Utes will be "God's Team" this year!!! Woo hoo!!!

Golf is great. Yay for golf! Charity is even better. Go charity! A little good natured poking fun by both sides is good. Yay for rivalry. Can BYU beat Utah 3 years in a row? Probably. They should be excellent again this year.

hey Utah- | 9:35 a.m. June 10, 2008
wasn't it your coach two years ago or so who said, for the record, that "we just aren't living right"? Why yes, I believe he did.

If twhit's winning the golf scramble is a sign that he and his team are starting to live right, then as a BYU fans I give you all a thumbs up for learning from your wiser, better looking, and older brother in Provo.

Will you guys just give it up about the whole "God's team" and all. If you feel that bad about losing the game why don't you find something else to make fun of like.....I know there's something here...Our stupid mascot Swoop? No that's you guys...How we haven't beaten you in two years?...Nope still you....How we lost to UNLV and Air Force?...Dangit, looks like you've taken all the good stuff. OK so go ahead and call us "God's team", it's only fair that you have one thing to hold over our heads!

who are you people anyway? | 10:01 a.m. June 10, 2008
in regards to the comment from the one who wrote, "re: Robert H" you trashed talked "robert h" about his "post is so shambled and disorganized that I am not sure your uneducated brothers and sisters AT IN happy valley will understand..."

Dude if your going to rip on somebody, for as you say "your own little language", you might want to be sure you are not talking in a "little language of your own". What exactly is "at in" whether it be in happy valley or any other valley????????

I tend to agree with some of the other people on this comment list, this is a good charity event, find some charity in your own hearts and leave the football trash talk to football articles in the fall.
