Let every person be judged on their performance and merits. Let everyone be assisted on the basis of their needs.
There should be ZERO benefit or detriment given on account of a person's race, gender, sexual orientation, language, etc.
Anything else is discrimination against other citizens in some form, usually subtle or blatent quotas or preferences.
If it would be unfair or illegal to do anything for a white, heterosexual, anglo, Mormon male, then it should be equally offensive to do it for a left-handed Latvian lesbian.
It is time to end this worthless commission. If some private group wants to do "diversity" stuff, with private funds, I guess it is okay, but not with public funds or resources either directly or indirectly.
"With liberty and justice for all"... and special preferences for none.
