I totally believe this. We have seen this play out in our family. Our dog is
anxious and jumpy around loud music, but when she sees us head to the piano
she's right there. She is our best audience for piano practice. She also
loves the violin, but I think the cello is her favorite instrument. She would be
so close to my daughter that she hardly dared move her feet while she practiced
her cello! She does like quiet music from a CD, but she likes live music the
best.

Our golden retriever mix loves sitting in the middle of our blues band rehearsal
-- the drums don't even seem to bother him. Go figure!

Every time I sing opera my chihuahua literally sings along, it's so wild!!!
My aunt has a video of it, I should get it from her and post it on you tube or
something.
