'Esperanza Rising' explores 2 different cultures

I have been an ESOL teacher in Longview, Texas for over nine years, and I have used the book, Esperanze Rising in my curriculum. I was happy to see that someone had presented it as a play. I'm hoping that, one day, this delightful and insightful book will be made into a movie.
