She sounds like good Congressional material! With all
the interesting folk we have in Rome D.C.Why not!
Barry | 10:48 a.m. May 27, 2008
She was probably panicked and seeking refuge from the guy following her down the street with the video camera...

...Proof that all those dreams people have about being out and about and realizing they are naked...might be real after all...

...and finally...a new twist...not sleep walking...sleep driving...

Just postulating here but maybe she was having a medical condition that needed treatment. Perhaps she is diabetic and her blood sugar was so low that she didn't know what she was doing. I know that when diabetics have low blood sugars they do strange things and these events sound like they could be the result of some medical condition. Strange.
Homer S. | 11:01 a.m. May 27, 2008
Just wondering why the guy recording the video followed the naked lady? I mean that just seems odd. I would have thought he would have stayed with the man who drove on the wrong side of the road. ;)
WHH | 11:03 a.m. May 27, 2008
Is the video going to be posted on YouTube? Ought to be a better deterrant to this lady ever doing something so stupid again.
Brian | 11:02 a.m. May 27, 2008
I want to see her picture and FOR SURE the video!!!

You guys are sick...she obviously has mental problems.

10 minutes before the incident:

Lady - "Hey! I thought we had eggs! Dang it, now I've got to go and get some! Hmm... What to wear... what to wear... Meh. I'm good. Be back in five!"
bikeboy | 11:16 a.m. May 27, 2008
I'm theorizing that she was trying to economize. Every excess pound of baggage decreases fuel mileage - the airlines know this. By driving nekkid, she's prolly a couple pounds lighter, and is prolly gonna get .00000014 MPG better than otherwise. It might not make much difference in one trip, but a year of nekkid driving might save a gallon of gas! (A gallon of gas that we'd otherwise have to buy from the terrorists.)

Re: Homer S.; Maybe he video recorded the situation for viewing during FHE, on why there are proper dress standards.

We're all naked under our clothes.
wrz | 11:54 a.m. May 27, 2008
"You guys are sick...she obviously has mental problems."

The guy with the camera was sick. He could have given her his coat or a blanket from his house for cover. But no. He was more interested in her nakedness, apparently.

Was the naked lady wearing a seatbelt?
Ned Neocon | 11:58 a.m. May 27, 2008

I for one will blame King George and and Haliburton Dick. It's their guidance and leadership that is causing all this weirdness. When the D's were in power this stuff never happened! Vote the D for no nakidness!!!!!

Ambien made me do it. | 12:23 p.m. May 27, 2008
My guess is she was taking Ambien, it been known to happen before according to the Washington Post. As for the guy with the camera, he is the one with the mental health issues.

Sleep researchers have reported an unusual number of incidents of sleepwalking in people taking Ambien, the top-selling sleep aid in the U.S. The Food and Drug Administration has received similar reports. Some incidents involve eating or driving while asleep;

this is a very serious story, not a laughing matter. Everyone needs to get a grip. Laws were broken people. Lets be mature about the situation.

Can't help but love you Utahns. First naked men running around Southern Utah, now naked women driving around SLC area. FLDS vs. nudity. One extreme or the other. At least you make us laugh.
Naked | 12:57 p.m. May 27, 2008
If a naked man runs through the wilderness and there are no pictures did it really happen? If there are pictures of naked women running through Sandy did that really happen?
re: Amazed | 12:59 p.m. May 27, 2008
I was in LA a couple of weeks ago and saw a homeless man with his pants down on the corner of a busy street.

It didn't make headlines, though. Probably because it happens all the time in other places. Here it's kind of out of the ordinary.

You idiots the video is from surveillance cameras attached to his house. He did not follow her with a hand held video camera. So you are a sicko for jumping to conclusions and saying he has issues. So fast to judge WRZ.

Yes, chase. It's plain to see that when you look at it; the raw truth is that it's barely funny, when you strip it down and really examine it for what it is.
godivagirls | 1:52 p.m. May 27, 2008
full dis-clothes-her necessary - back up your story with pictures!
Not funny | 2:01 p.m. May 27, 2008
Oh, sure it's fun to go nude driving - until someone gets hurt!
What? | 2:11 p.m. May 27, 2008
I know all the hoopla is with the nudity but something doesn't make sense. "The impact of the accident threw the man's car 40 feet." How fast was he or she going to throw his car 40 feet. Wasn't this in a neighborhood? And there were only minor injuries. A lot of weird things in this story - Makes you wonder.
Bountiful | 2:14 p.m. May 27, 2008
You guys are sick. You are all perverted that wanted to see the pictures. I believe it happened but i dont need pictures to tell me it happened. Sickos

magnus | 2:25 p.m. May 27, 2008
Re: What?

There is alot about this story that doesn't make sense, but there are clearly only two important and news-worthy facts.

1) Nobody was seriously hurt

2) There was a crazy naked lady involved AND there is visual documentation of the incident.

And that's really all you need to know.

I wasn't aware until I read this blog that mental illness causes nakedness in women. Sheesh! That explains everything.
baddog | 3:02 p.m. May 27, 2008
I used to drive around naked but then I realized I could get in an accident so I quit. Now I do something much more daring...I drive around Orem on Sunday morning without a white shirt and a tie on...
i'm going | 3:09 p.m. May 27, 2008
to think about this the next time i'm in church!
