Why haven't there been any reports of arrests of the men if there is evidence of abuse happening? Seems that what Texas CPS wanted to a new stock of foster kids so they took some and now try to justify it...

One man's "rights" (choice, whatever you want to call it) are another child's Thailand...

CPS is still trying to prosecute/persecute an entire community based on allegations against one man.

First, CPS acted against the whole community on the basis of hoax phone calls naming one man as an abuser. Lacking any evidence of actual abuse, CPS' case fell apart. Now, CPS is trying to make a case against the entire community based on a photo of another man, Warren Jeffs.

In response to the dressing-down CPS received from the court, instead of presenting actual evidence that the parents of the children taken into state custody are actually abusers, or taking the children based on the fact that the men are actually convicted sex offenders (evidence the state doesn't have) CPS then puts up a photo of Warren Jeffs, who has already been convicted of a crime, and through shock and by implication seeks to indict all other members of the community as abusers.

The court ruled CPS' action against the entire community based on an accusation against one man in the initial hoax phone calls was an abuse of their authority and outside law, and here CPS tries the very same tactic before the Court. CPS should be cited for contempt!

I have never I have never smoked, drank liquor or drugs, and I don't wear make up. My mother has five daughters out of her thirteen children and I am the youngest. There is something about pure living that makes one look younger. Have you ever seen a teenage girl that looked used up and wasted? So have I, but not in our FLDS community. Let us honor God as we believe and live the life we want. Obey the Mormon creed.

Get a life!

I am FLDS and I don't know everybody. I know everything about my religion but I do not know everybody who shares my faith. Some of us come from different States and different countries, some are old converts, some are new and there's no way everbody knows everbody else so this comments is rather comical, unless maybe you're a Pipkin:) Either way you are mistaken. lol!

These comments are so full of hate. All you hateful people should go see a psychiatrist. I don't agree with the FLDS belief system but neither do I hate them. There's a K in every kiss.

A right and we don't say it's "ok" in our general society for these things to occur. We try and help teenagers find their way where this society has promoted older men telling young women that they have to "marry" them to go to heaven!

Warren Jeffs should be hung. The damage he has done will not stop until he and his cult are stopped. Polygamy has always been a most contemptous life style. It is abusive to women & children and destroys families. When will america wake up and get rid of polygamy once and for all!

The point you people seem to be missing is it doesn't matter how old the picture is. It still shows the man kissing an underage girl. My question is why would any mother let her child be treated this way in this so called religion or as one of the previous comments in the inner cities? Our job as parents are to protect our children. We need to quit expecting the government to take care of our children and step up as parents. I don't understand how any parent could think that it was okay for a girl of 12 or even 16 to marry. It truly boggles the mind.

Photos of FLDS Church leader Warren Jeffs and a young female were entered into evidence in a custody battle over a 1-week-old baby. Lawyers would not say where they obtained the photos, which are dated July 2006.
