There should be no practice of reserving space along the parade route for any parades. Overnight camping out should also be forbidden along parade routes. Too often those not living in the city are forced to take up undesirable viewing spots and people are getting the attitude they are homesteading and fence off their domain and have a right to whatever spots they deem theirs. Parade viewers should not be allowed to set up anywhere along the route until the morning of the parade. This gives all the opportunity of choice and place to sit on a first come first choice. These parade homesteaders have taken the joy of going to the parade a misery for most.
