Forget it, Huckleberry. You came off like a clown in the primaries, and you have no future in national politics.

What does this Huckleberry commnet have to do with Twilight????

Stephenie Meyer is a genius and she has managed to pull off a great story, has hooked us crossing the generational lines (it even gives us a book we can discuss with our teens but love for ourselves). I applaud good writing that doesn't rely on smut to sell. Thanks to the publisher for believing in her. Thanks to Stephenie for using her rare free moments of time NOT watching TV, etc. but contributing to society through her literary skills.

Thank you Deseret News for letting us share with you our love of Stephenie Meyer and her books. Whether it's Vampires, Werewolves, or Aliens, Stephenie Meyer has created characters we as humans can all relate too. We want to thank Stephenie for daring to share her stories with the world, and for the Twilgiht Lexicon for providing us a place to discuss them. If not for the books and the website site, we'd never have found our closest and dearest lifelong friends.

Kudos to the Deseret News for braving a theater full of Stephenie Meyer fans. Your article was great and we hope you continue to cover all things Stephenie Meyer! SLTA (Salt Lake Twilighters Anon.) thanks you for keeping your coverage upbeat and exciting. We look forward to seeing more, because if it's Stephenie related--we'll be there! Perhaps we'll see you at some of the Breaking Dawn release parties in August.

Stephenie Meyer is possibly the greatest writer of our generation. Her books cross generations and genres. Are they scifi? Paranormal? Romance? They are life-changing, for sure.

I wasn't able to attend the signings, but I have many lucky friends who did.

Thank you Deseret News for portraying Stephenie's fans honestly and accurately.

No, she's not the greatest writer of our generation. Good stories, sure. Very very popular, yes. But the greatest writer? Hyperbolic.
