I'm not sure who is creepier here--the man or the students who traded pictures for beer! What an ugly mess!

"Educators" far worse | 3:59 p.m. May 17, 2008
Far more students are molested by their teachers than those solely involved in school sports programs. Why aren't those statistics contrasted? Why does the leftist media, which professes to be in favor of the rights of women and children, fail to spotlight the ridiculously high incident rate of teacher sexual assault against schoolchildren? Could it have anything to do with their cozy relationship with "teacher" unions?

The thing that really disappoints me about this shoddy journalism is that a key part of the story is that Hansen is mentally handicapped. While it's obvious that Brian's mind is warped, the true villains in this story are most likely the high school kids who took advantage of him. While he is excessively inappropriate, and as some people have mentioned "creepy", the story made it sound like Hansen was preying on young strapping high school boys. Anyone who knows Hansen can piece together that these kids thought it was a perfectly splendid joke to manipulate beer from the special needs basketball manager. What a sad mess.
