BOOOOOzer is done. He has a big pay check and absolutely no heart. He's
not a winner, and never will be. Sloan should have figured this out last
season. Tonight it will be Lakers 102 - Jazz 88. Done I say!

Yeah! Huh? HUH? You all with me?? Huh? Zoing! Get it? Because Ronnie Price is a player on the Jazz and there is a show called "Price is Right" on TV!! It's awesome the way they do that!

The NBA should develop and utilize a computerized system instead of the current
"human" officials. A dozen strategically located cameras show all the
angels and let the computer decide if it is really a foul without regards to the
color of the uniform or the Star power of the player.
Everyone hates the officials anyway. There is no question they do figure in the outcome of the games. Home team has won almost every game in this round.
Anyone that says officials do not decide the outcome of a game is blind, stupid, in denial or just trying to be a good sport. I'm tired of being a good sport! The officials are human and they do make errors, they can also be manipulated or bought. Get rid of them and let the players decide the game. (I have been a ref for many years, not NBA)

the funny thing is that when i read all the posts, I never, never see a Jazz fan
claiming that Utah does not foul...yet Lakers fans always counter with the old
"stop whining, your team fouls more than anyone" argument. What
people are saying is "Yes, our team fouls...and so do the Lakers."
Unfortunately, and this is the reason for the complaining, only one team is
being called for the fouls at critical points in the game.

The Jazz are a great team! They deserve to play the game! Some of the calls
are not even in the book. (To the refs) "Come on refs, let them play and
call it fair!" The Jazz deserve to be in the playoffs so let them play!! Go
Jazz! We believe in you!!

I for one, hope the Jazz play physical and dirty tonight!!! After all,
isn't that what everyone says about us, that we are dirty!!! If we are so
dirty, why didn't we at least touch Kobe when he was on the floor last
game? For anyone, with a hurt back, all it would take would be setting a hard
screen or accidentally going for the ball but knocking him down on his butt
(sound familiar? Turiaf??) and he would have been history!!! Heck, it would
have ended the series for LA then and there!! We would have only have had to
play without one player the rest of the playoffs, but oh well. I can dream on,
I guess we aren't that "dirty" after all since the only time we
fouled him was when someone "looked" his way. Nice calls ref. Maybe
next time when someone calls us "dirty" we can remind them we had a
chance to take Kobe down, but we are way above that. Sloan and the rest of the
Jazz have too much class. Too bad we can't be a "dirty" hard
defensive team. Every team ever to win a championship is.

Unbelievable. I have never read so many ridiculous comments about refs and
conspiracies. Come on guys. I don't consider myself a Jazz fan, but I
certainly pull for them because I love Jerry Sloan and the toughness that he
instills in his players. I haven't missed a Jazz game this post-season,
and not once have I thought that the refs had some intention to keep the Jazz
from winning by swallowing whistles or being quick to hit the Jazz with anything
they could muster. I don't know...call me irrational. This is a great
series with intense competitiveness; regardless, this series nor any other
series in any professional sport will be without flaws in officiating. It seems
many fans on this board need to be more aware of their psychological bias - you
tend to notice EVERY possible mistake if it's at the expense of your team,
but every call against the opposition is deemed valid. But, I suppose some
die-hard fans find comfort in blaming 3rd parties rather than admitting,
"You know what...we just aren't the better team." Keep it real,
everyone. Now let's get pumped for tonight's game! Go Jazz!

i have been a utah fan until i moved to phoenix and jumped on their run and gun
bandwagon. the same thing that is happening to the jazz this year and last year
with that horrendesly called game 5 with the spurs, happened to the suns the
whole series last year with them and this year as well but the phoenix fans were
too stupid to figure out what was going on when the refs purposely put shaq out
of the game with fouls so that no one could gaurd tim duncan and they lost a
game that they should have easily won in regulation in 2 overtimes.kudos for
jazz fans for calling like it is and not getting their coach fired for something
that david stern is to blame for

Whoever "Anon" is, thank you for the laugh of the week. Seriously,
your headlines were hilarious. What makes them so great is the groan that
everyone makes when they read a cheezy headline from a newspaper, but these are
so over-the-top that it makes it obvious. Very clever!

The Jazz players comprise a young team, one of the four youngest in the NBA if I
recall. But I don't see their winning big in the playoffs until they find
better defenders at the power forward position. In this series the Jazz played
better every time Boozer the Loser was out of the ball game. Hint: Either
Boozer has to get better, or the Jazz should dump him. He has a lot of value.
I'm sure we could get some good players for him.
The Jazz lost the last two games because they played so poorly -- too many turnovers, too many fouls, too many matador defensive (non)moves. The refs had a huge impact, too, especially with all the Kobe calls. I replayed a lot of the questionable calls, and Kobe got away with murder. It takes away form his greatness to have the refs help him out just as it took away from MJ's rep that his final shot is known as "The Push."

i think the JAZZ did great but i think if deron threw the ball just a little
closer maybe they would have bin tied but i guess not still the JAZZ rock ok
