CONGRATULATIONS to our Son and Son in Law - Tyler Barrick & Spencer Jones

Our hearts are so full and eyes overflowing with tears of joy and excitement for this special day for you both. IT'S ABOUT TIME!! We only wish we were there with you celebrating this long over due moment in history. We are so proud of you and your example of love, commitment and tolerance of those that feel they need to be hurtful and hateful in the name of a loving God.

We love who you are! Mom & Dad

Honestly this has totally changed my view on the church completely. Separation of church and state. We need to get our views out of politics and more into..well..RELIGION.

Good for California and any states or governments who recognize Gay marriage!

This right is already enshrined in the 14th amendmendment to the U S Constitution that guaranties equal protection under the law.

Perhaps governments should get out of the marriage business altogether, especially providing special incentives to male-female couples married with or without religious trappings. Religious and social communities could maintain marriage as a recognized distinction in their culture without government involvement. But this isn't likely because the straight majority couples don't want to give up their government granted perks.

Why isn't religious opposition being expressed so strongly in other "family issues" such as divorce? Because that would offend the majority of conservative Christians who see nothing or little wrong with divorce applied to themselves despite Biblical injunctions clearly against divorce.

End the hippocracy!!!

It is none of you or your religions business who I choose to share my life with. I should have the right to love and the pursuit of happiness as any other person in this country.

How dare you and your religion that I do not belong to attempt to meddle in politics which effects me, my personal life, and my family. If your church leaders want to define marriage within their own religion, that is wonderful for you. But they have absolutely NO business getting into a political battle which affects millions of gay Californians, a majority of whom, like myself, are not Mormons. In fact, doesn't one of your 13 Article's Of Faith talk about letting everyone worship "how where or what they may"? Live and let live, and don't force someone else to live the way you think they should?

I dont recall Jesus trying to force people his way and according to his laws. He simply invited those who were interested to follow him. The rest were free to live as they pleased, without judgment or his restriction.

Are you more than Jesus?
