I refused to do business at Reams years ago, when they added 10% to each bill
and haven't shopped there since.

Not Enough Customers?? | 10:00 a.m. May 15, 2008
What's the deal? Several years ago, the Food4Less at this location also
closed down. I can't believe there aren't enough customers who
patronize these discount food stores. Guess everybody would rather have to go
to Smiths, Albertsons, and other more expensive places. Even Macey's--that
used to be a fair priced place to shop has decided the almighty profit dollar is
their true love and motivation.

Actually, the rest of the Ream's stores aren't in Salt Lake City, as
stated in the article. They are in Salt Lake County. And none of them are in
Salt Lake City.

Cursed Location? | 3:14 p.m. May 15, 2008
I heard Maceys is taking over thet location. It will be interesting to see if
they can make it go. If Provo had gotten a Costco, Sams etc in there in the past
that strip mall would be booming. It's been pretty stagnant for years
there. I shop mostly at Costco and Sams. I used to buy food storage at Maceys
until prices went out of sight. Macey's grocery prices are not cheap except
on some sale items. The current Provo Maceys is hopping with student traffic. I
doubt many will move over to Plum Tree. The Plum Tree strip mall is dying except
for the Movie Theatre. Provo and Orem commercial real estate is in the tank
generally.
