Unfortunately the Catholic Church in its official capacity DOES like to put limits on God's creative freedom. No place for His creative freedom to have continuing revelation, modern prophets or more scripture than the Bible. No creative freedom to offer redemption to those who have already died, or to offer it to babies and little children.
Hopefully, the leaders of the Catholic Church will come to see God really does have this creative freedom, as much for their own benefit as those of the rest of mankind, on this planet and elsewhere.
Hopefully the leaders of the Catholic Church will come to the same conclusion about the mistake they have recently made of deciding to cut off access to parish records by members of the LDS church.
