Nothing says they can't do their own thing, rent the cemetary and rake in the dollars without the Salt Lake folks watching over everything.
I thought Church leaders were "inspired"? This is certainly NOT an inspired decision!
Let's have faith and see what happens!!!

I have some real estate to sell you. Bishops and Stake Presidents have invested in my program. It is a sure thing. Send me your information so I can contact you! If you just have faith, you can be rich like me!
Ha! Keep your naive faith and I will keep my common sense. Your blind faith will be your undoing. This was a bad decision, I guarantee it. The pageant is done.
I understand, though, that we need to study it out for ourselves. That may involve contacting those bishops and stake presidents :-) and asking them to reconsider changign the pageant.
Prepare a list of why it needs to stay vs. why it should go, and be willing to listen to the "studying it out" that they did before they made the decision..
