I love Twilight. The Host was even better! I still can't decide. The mixture of love and fantasy was amazing. It was different then most books I read.
I don't read romance novels because they're all about "incredible sex" and I see romance as so beyond that. Thanks to Stephenie for finding a way to address normal sexual tension while maintaining values - the main character even accepts her "punishment" with maturity. She does speak up when her father attempts to punish her without cause. She deals with her parents divorce while making the best of her situation. While this may be part of the fantasy, teaching teens this kind of maturity is a good thing for sure. And, abstinence is possible - even if he isn't a vampire!
