About 10 years ago,I started to go to Miami regularly.A Cuban friend introduced me to the local fare.I was instantly addicted to the symphony of flavor that is Cuban cuisine. My favorite eatery on the planet is Habana Vieja on Coral Way.When in Utah in a few weeks,I will definitely stop in.
This place should be a roaring success.

Provo actually had a Cuban restaurant, The Torch, about 15 years ago. It opened in a hole-in-the-wall location in the west downtown and was very successful. But then it moved to a fancy storefront on University Avenue, the prices went up, and it failed. I remember fondly the milkshakes made with real tropical fruits, like mamay. If this new restaurant has these kinds of milkshakes, I will definitely be giving it a try!

Tried it yesterday, delicious! Great service, friendly wait staff, yummy Cuban sandwich. I'll be back.

Awful service. Buttered Cuban bread was promptly offered to our table. There was one waitress for two other tables on our arrival (one group of four, one group of two), with three other employees walking around. Got up to leave after waiting exactly 15 minutes (prior cell phone call's end time) with no acknowledgment before leaving the restaurant. A simple "oh, sorry" was offered when we advised we'd been waiting 15 minutes and couldn't wait any longer. No attempt to make things right.

The menu looked interesting, but we won't be wasting our time there to try them another time in the future.
