Salt Lake County captain is perplexed by transfer

Anyone who believes this has nothing to do with Debry running against Randy Horiuchi for his county council seat (who happens to be a resident of Holladay City and friend to city manager Fitts) should avoid any real estate deals in Florida! To bad Fitts didn't have the courage to speak the truth to Debry's face the night of the council meeting instead of issuing a press release the following day...gutless wonder.

Sometimes change is good, especially when anybody starts believing that nobody can be replaced. Change is especially good in law enforcement assignments as police officers tend to get cozy with people. How many times have we heard how the police let a speeder go because the violator was known to the officer? Mayors, city councilmen and even legislators have been let off the hook by traffic officers simply because of their position. And when a sheriff runs for an office that employs his department, something doesn't smell right.

I bet Mr. Fitz and the daily city workers just had enough of "Steroid Steve". A change in leadership would be great. A leader in law enforcement with an education would be even better.

I found the Press Release that Fitts provided to be confusing and unnecessary. There was no reason to offer a Press Release. The Press Release served nothing more than grand standing.
This matter should have been conducted in a more professional manner!

Yeah_Right, Horiuchi lives in Salt Lake city, get your facts right. I heard that the city wasn't too happy with the guy and they wanted him out, it was as simple as that.

This doesn't make sense. Did they (council) all lie to DeBry the night before blaming the sheriff or did Fitts act alone and not tell the council. Either they have no class or simply no brains.

I agree with Yeah right. Don't tell me this wasn't politically motivated. I checked around. In 30 years there has never been a replacement in a command position because the city said "They wanted a change".

I am very disappointed in the Horiuchi machine. I thought maybe he might fight fair. But alas I was wrong. Hey Sheriff! Way to back your commander. Oh that's right! Your a democrat too. Things that make you go Hmm?

The guy only ran because he thought he could help give back to the community. I wonder what Randy's Platform is? The Terminator? No he did that last time. Or was that the time before? I know it's always some stupid billboard. Whatever. It's nonsense. Vote for Steve Debry.

As for that Steroid Steve Comment. Way to stick to the subject Cry me a river. Class pure class. Must be a cop.
