Funny movie... you should see it

Mark, no need to criticize Fey because you have no idea whether she's a good mother. Does she teach her child right from wrong? Many mothers don't. Does she teach her child to pray, to dress modestly, to respect others, to judge others based on character rather than the color of their skin, their religion or body type? Does she read to her child and instill a desire to learn? Does she maintain a loving relationship with her husband, which her child would want to emulate? I submit that you don't know the answers to any of these questions. I have relatives who stayed home with their kids all day but never bothered to give them the time of day. None of those kids would be considered normal because of the terrible job their mother did. None has high self-esteem or any social skills. Two of her kids have moved out and seldom call her (one of them calls maybe once a year). So simply staying at home is not a good substitute for doing what it takes to be a good parent.

I couldn't agree more with #3's comment. My husbands first wife is LDS, and a stay a home mom. All of her children have moved out, in with us for a time, the one who was from her second husband is living with her grandfather now.

The oldest doesn't have much to do with his mother, the second is married at 19 to a LDS boy who works part time at Arby's and the 19 girl now thinks staying home to raise the new baby they had is more important than working to support the baby so the church doesn't have to. The youngest can barely read at a third grade level and she's 16. Oh and this stay at home mom volunteered at the red cross but didn't take of her own children. So saying that staying home rather than working is narrow minded and pious.
