John Inglish seems to love seeing empty buses. During the past ten years UTA has established a pattern: raise bus prices--> watch bus customer base go down--> cut routes to make up for lost customers--> more lost customers--> raise prices again to make up for lost revenue from reduced customer base. . . etc.

UTA is not accountable to customers or taxpayers and so they manage to mix the worst practices from the public and the private sectors. Lazy politicians who don't ride the bus defend UTA's management because they don't want to have to study the problems or do anything. If you won't to improve the environment don't ride UTA, buy a bicycle or a scooter.

Prices for UTA and FrontRunner Service are high enough; if UTA faces a $5Million Dollar shortfall, than that's just too bad; why can't the Public vote to decide wether UTA should raise fares; and why can't the State set a limit on how much bus; train and FrontRunner fares should be? The last time I rode a bus in Phoenix, AZ; it was very affordable.

Voters Voted for a Improvement in the Transit System
not the Destruction of the Bus System. UTA needs to get Accessible Vans and Small Buses to go into neighborhoods to help Encourage People to take the Bus, to take Individuals to the Main Bus Route or Trax. Gas Prices have Sky Rocketed. UTA needs to work on Barrier Free, Benches and Shelters and also
Increase the Frequency of Buses. There are 7 High Paid Executives. John Inglish General Manager Salary is $266,614 Bonus is $39,860, Other Incentives $60,526 Total $100,386, there are 6 more High Paid Executives. Governor Huntman Salary is $107,200. All 7 Executives make more MONEY than the Governor, all Tax Payers Expense.UTA is in the process of trying to get other Entities to do Transportion it is likely Property Taxes would be Increase. UTA Board and Executives needs to be held accountable, Please help UDOT UTA has to many High Paid Executives. UTA DESTRUCTION of the all the Transit System.

UTA board rubber stamps everything Inglish comes up with. For this creative way of living with higher diesel prices we pay Inglish $260,000; no wonder so many people have a bad taste in their mouths in regards to UTA. Sometimes I wonder if it is even worth the taxes we pay for it!!

Ever sience I have ridden UTA it seems like their prices go up , but I guess with the price of gas now at $3.40 a gallon it seems cheaper to take the Bus & Trax & Front runner, but with price going up at almost to $2.00 in July, The public transportation seems like the best way to go,
